Alcohol ink art!
This is my alcohol ink project I will be sharing.
Things you will need:
Alcohol ink. ( Colors you want.)
paper. ( I did it on Yupo.)
Rubbing alcohol.
Gloves. ( It's messy!)
Instructions:
Put on your gloves to keep your hands clean.
You can spray the rubbing alcohol first or after the ink.
Drop your ink on.
Tilt the paper to cover all white spots. Or use a straw to blow it.
Let it dry.
And your done.😁

Hear Me Knit
My husband always says that to him, the sound of my needles clicking is comforting and one of the sounds of home. I agree completely. Knitting has become so normal in our house, we stumble over yarnish things daily and no one bats an eye. Right now I can see a shawl tucked into the entertainment center and a stray ball that I'm not sure how to use resting on the couch. It has become normal for me to have to move my blocking project off the bed because, really, we have to sleep there. When I'm using the kitchen table to block, the kids all naturally migrate elsewhere with their breakfast without me having to direct them. My kids are constantly finding and returning to me the accoutrements of my obsession: a stitch marker, a dpn, a tiny scissor. My closet has more yarn in it than clothing. I kid you not.
Since it seems to be taking over all of my free time (and space), I thought maybe I should start writing about knitting. Now, I am not a writer, nor do I enjoy writing much. For some reason, I have been feeling the need to do more knitting-wise. I love talking about knitting with my few knitterly friends. I love telling non-knitters all about what I do and what makes it special. Someone suggested I start blogging and I couldn't get it out of my mind. It seemed that maybe this was the way to connect with other knitters and share some of what I do.
Here it is, people. The blog I never thought would exist. Just to brighten your day, I will leave you with a little visual of something fresh off the needles. Enjoy!
